Accio-Potter is a Harry Potter fan site founded on July 8th, 2008. Our mission is to provide the fandom with the latest Harry Potter News and Events and to organize a place to gather and meet new people. The entire staff of Accio-Potter has this fandom to thank for becoming friends, and we would just like to share the best of it with you.

I oversee all staff movements. Harry Potter, Accio-Potter, the Yankees, and The Fratellis make up 90% of my life.
I like Chinese food, food in general, and good people with big hearts. My staff will tell you that I am a Gryffindor completely; They say I have an enormous ego, but I don't know where they get that idea.
You really should join the staff here at AP. We have a hell of a good time. Also, while you're sending the job app email, join PotterProfiles. And for the record, we were the first fansite to have a HP social network.
I host our podcasts, PTR, and APWR. I've had a dream to open up a Harry Potter Fansite for a while, and it's finally become a reality.
I've got an awesome staff, who are truly some of my greatest friends. But why a Harry Potter Site? Well, Harry Potter is 99% of my life. The world my idol, JKR, has created is a place that I wish I could live in. The fandom which Accio-Potter serves, is close though. It's a place where you can find people from all over the world that share your potter passion. Besides HP, I love baseball, playing guitar/bass guitar, laughing, helping people, and watching the New York Yankees, of whom I am a huge fan.

I'm the Accio-Potter Supervisor, overseeing the many administrative affairs of the site. I have been friends with Alex for a long time, and we both have always shared our deep passion for Harry Potter. My favorite book in the series is the Half-Blood Prince, and some of my hobbies include video games, reading, politics, and marching band. My favorite character in the books is Voldemort, as it seems that I always seem to root for the bad guy in any story. I hope that this site becomes a place where anybody, whether you are a casual visitor or a hardcore fan, can share their love of Harry Potter.

About Me: I'm a sophomore at St. Mary's College of Maryland, a small public honors college near the Chesapeake Bay. I plan to double-major in Math and History and minor in Music; pretty much, I'm smashing everything I enjoy into four years, and hope to find a job related to at least one of them afterwards. Outside of class (which isn't much time) I'm active in Chamber Singers, Student Environmental Action Coalition, and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. I am the little 13 year old of the accio-potter staff. I started reading Harry Potter when i was 8 and have been a HUGE fan ever since. My favorite books are Deathly Hallows and Half Blood Prince. I am a big reader but none of the books i have ever read have ever compared to Harry Potter. I am and probably always will be a dancer (ballet/pointe, jazz, modern, tap), but at this point my true passions are physics (NERDALERT!), Model UN (/international relations), Ultimate Frisbee and, of course, Harry Potter. I've made so many amazing friends through the fandom, and got the chance to meet many of them IRL at Terminus 2008 in Chicago. 'Twas awesome.

I talk about Harry Potter too much according to some people and my friends are fans so they don't mind to a point. I love to read like Hermione but not study as much like she does. I've been in choir for at least seven years and I'm learning how to play the guitar. I've written for my high school newspaper and college newspaper. I even did an article on Harry Potter in my college newspaper. I really wanted to get an opportunity to be more involved in the fandom so I thought by being part of accio-potter staff would be a great way. I go to Texas A&M Univ. - Corpus Christi.
