It’s been a long time coming, but Mike and I have an off week starting next Tuesday (Jan. 26) and we WILL be releasing at least one episode of APWR. We’ve been getting fan mail about our absence, most of which are tearful accounts of lives without APWR. Please be assured. We are coming back!
Exactly 365 days ago, I sat down and decided to make a new podcast devoted to Wizard Rock. To be honest with you, I didn’t even know that much about Wrock. But I thought that such a unique show would be successful and lots of fun to do. And it sure has been. Once intended to be a solo project, I invited Mike and Jay along in Episode 4 and they both have been a key part to APWR’s fun-filled shows.
The show has gone through 22 recorded shows, 2 live shows, and 6 failed recording sessions or never-to-be-released shows. APWR has been downloaded 53,070 times, has been mentioned on Wikipedia’s Harry Potter Fandom Page, and held the top spot on Podcast Alley’s Top Music Podcast List for several months in a row.
We do this show for many reasons, but our favorite part of APWR is your enjoyment in our show and of course the Wrock. It’s incredible to think that just a year ago this show was nothing; and even with our long gaps between episodes, APWR is just getting started.

We’ve been asked that question a lot the past few months. In truth, we’ve started a TwiRock podcast to replace APWR. We feel that there is a lot more to offer in the Twilight fandom.
Just kidding!
So our last show was released a month ago, and a few rumors have been going around that we have ended the show. Not true! We’ve never had that idea cross our minds, especially now that the party is just getting started.

Accio-Potter Wizard Radio has turned into something much greater than we had ever anticipated. With 19 shows under our belt, we are proud of what we’ve done so far. We’ve listened to around 300 wizard rock songs from many different bands, and it’s been fun. But we think it’s time to take our show to the next level. Our next episode will be our 20th, and we’ve decided to make it the final show of APWR, Season 1.
But what can you expect from Season 2? When does it start?
Don’t worry! There will be no delay between the first two seasons. We hope to get Episode 21 out 2 weeks after Episode 20.
